Amber, the Eternal City, the Golden City. Its sweeping white arches and terraced gardens catch the eye with grandeur and awe. There, nestled upon the side of Mount Kolvir, it sparkles in a way more clearly felt than seen. So real is its presence that it seems as if Amber must be a piece of Elysium itself, for it pleases and fills the hearts of those whom look upon it so.

It exists, it remains, casting its reflections into the infinite pool of existence, shining into the shadows; mystically bound to the blood of the family that governs it, keeps it, and calls it home ~ the blood of Amber, the blood of Oberon its King.

The legacy of that blood, bound by fate to this place of beauty, of purpose, intrigue, and power, begins and ends here. Blood is the only bond that cannot be disputed.
